Directions to Prison Island
The team will offer full explanation of how to approach the game and challenges as well as providing massive encouragement along the way. There is also a cafe that serves drinks, snacks, pizzas and ice cream so you can combine this activity with a bite to eat before or after no problem.
Prison Island is a great fun activity for families and also for groups of friends but it's also ideal for larger groups; host a Prison Island Birthday party, make it an activity within a Corporate team building weekend or perhaps make your brain work in between the drinking games on your Stag or hen party. Whilst Prison Island is awesome fun it's also got quite an educational angle improving team work, co-ordination and also communication skills so it's also suitable for schools or clubs.
Prison Island is also something you can do in any weather conditions as it is an indoor event so perfect for a rainy day but equally ideal if you need to spend some time out of the hot summer sun!
FAQs about Prison Island
a) How long does the activity take?
The time that visitors spend at a visit to Prison Island varies. However, the general experience is that “time flies” when you visit a Prison Island. In one hour you can cover approximately 10-12 cells but with a 2 hour reservation you will be able to complete them all so we would advise doing the 2 hour booking for your first trip.
b) How many people can play?
You can not play alone and the optimal number of persons in a group is 3, but you can also be 4 or even 2 without any real problem. The Prison Cells at Prison Island are designed for teamwork, and many of the cells can not be solved unless you are at least 3 persons in the group. If you are big group they will put you into teams to play.
c)How old do you need to be?
Younger children are welcome but they think that children under 9 years may struggle. Kids under 12 need to play with an adult but there is no age limit so bring grandma too! It really is fun for all the family.
d) Do you have to do the cells in a particular order?
No, there is no special order you have to follow, try them in the order you choose and go back as many times as you like if you want to better your score.
e) What should you wear?
You don’t need any special equipment. However, avoid high heels, suits and nice dresses! We suggest comfortable light clothes and trainers or flat shoes.
f) How does the points system work?
All your achievements at Prison Island will be automatically supervised and registered in their IT-system. There are screens in the corridors where you can see how your (and your friends) results change during the visit. Your results will then be shown at their web page in High-Score lists (Daily, Monthly and All-Time) so you can keep checking in and see if you friends are beating you!
