How to choose the perfect Yacht Charter in Marbella
 
1. Choose how long you want your charter to be!
Yacht charters are generally booked as 2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours.  Some of the larger yachts have a minimum of a 4 hour rental but the smaller boats under 40 foot can often be chartered for a shorter 2 hour period.  A 2 hour charter allows you to have a bit of a taster: make a short circuit of the coastline and return to harbour. However,  a 4 -8 hour charter allows you a little more time to enjoy the views, take in a few drinks, perhaps have a bite to eat on board and cover a larger stretch of our beautiful Marbella Coastline.
 
2. Choose your boat!

Price gauge for 4 hour charters:

• Small motor boat up to 7 pax – 495€
• Mid range motor boat up to 11 pax – 765€
• Luxury super yacht up to 11 pax – 2250€
• Catamaran up to 17 pax – 990€

3. Choose your date and time!
Once you know how long your charter is and the boat you are interested in register your enquiry with My Local Concierge Yacht team for a specific date and time and they will check availability before confirming the booking.
 
4. Select any extras that you may want on board!
My Local Concierge can provide full catering and drinks services on board as well as organise entertainment if required.   They can also arrange fun activities at sea such as Jet Skis, Banana Boats and Donuts to be brought to the boat so you can hop off and enjoy some watersports at the same time
 
5. Confirm and pay
All yacht charter bookings need to be confirmed and paid in advance.  Full refunds are offered in the instance where weather prevents you from setting sail.
 
FAQs
What is included in the charter price?
The charter price in the catalogue includes the captain, fuel (sufficient for normal cruising), soft drinks, and of course the rental of the yacht for the period you have chosen to sail.
 
What is the maximum capacity for yachts in Marbella?
All motor boats have no more than 11 person capacity however big they are! This is due to the licensing and insurance of the vessels.  If you are a group of 11 or more then you will need to look at Catamarans or classic Schooner boats for your group.  
 
Is it suitable for children?
A day on a yacht is perfectly suitable for all the family and life jackets are provided.  If it is your children’s first time at sea we would advise just taking a shorter trip initially so that they become familiar with the sensation of being at sea.
 
Can you play music on board?
Yes all of the My Local Concierge boats have Bluetooth stereos where you can play your own music or bring CDs
 
Can you drink alcohol on board?
All the boats have Soft drinks and Water on board as part of the charter price however you can ask for specific drinks and the team are happy to provide alcoholic drinks on board upon request and can offer a full bottle list.
 
Can you take a chef on board?
Yes, My Local Concierge can provide the services of a Private Chef on board if you require to prepare a gourmet lunch or dinner whilst at sea.
 
Can you get off the boat to go to a Beach Club?
Yes, there are a handful of Beach Clubs that offer a Yacht pick-up service.  These include Nikki Beach, Finca Cortesin Beach Club and also Trocadero in Sotogrande.  You would need to have at least a 6 hour charter to allow enough time to get on and off the boat and back to the harbour though and the time you are off the boat is part of the charter time.
 
Will you see dolphins?
We are lucky enough to enjoy regular visits from families of dolphins in the area.  You’re captain is often informed as to their whereabouts and will look to find them if possible on your charter!
