Where to get a Covid Test in Marbella

Testing for Covid 19 is something that is now required for several purposes, not only if you think you have symptoms or have been in contact with someone that has tested positive already, so we will keep this handy list updated with the locations that offer the test in the Marbella area with English speaking staff and results.

There are 2 different types of test usually available; and Antigens Rapid test that will give you results within minutes and also the more complete PCR test.  We advise calling the clinic before visiting to establish which type of test you require and the cost as they do vary.

Certain people will still need to travel for the purpose of essential work or other reasons and flight companies such as Emirates will require a negative PCR test certificate before boarding.  Others may require the same negative test in order to attend their place of work and importantly if you know you have been in close contact with someone that has tested positive already it is vital that you find out your own results to understand the extent in which you should quarantine to prevent any possible spread of the virus.  Ignoring a result simply puts other people in danger.

The Public health services do provide testing facilities at the Emergency areas of health centres and also at the hospital but you may prefer to use a private facility which can often provide quicker results and also maybe subsidised if you have private health insurance already.
