The United Nationalities of Marbella Summit 2017

On April 25th, 2017, the United Nationalities of Marbella will hold their second summit at the Laude Elementary School, San Pedro de Alcántara, Marbella, Málaga, Spain.

Besides being one of the world's most popular tourist destinations, Marbella also has an estimated 127 nationalities permanently in residence. This has created an extraordinary opportunity to create a microcosm of global commonality and connectedness in this legendary Spanish city.

The aim of the summit is to explore ways to harness this spirit of community and turn Marbella into a shining beacon of multiculturalism and unity – and an example for other cities and nations across the world to follow.

Many of us recognise that, while our cultural differences may vary, we all want and aspire to the same things: To live well, in peace, and in harmony with each other and our environment; To celebrate our differences, while combining our commonalities and strength in cooperation for the greater good of all.

The Summit will be hosted by Nicole King and the RTV Marbella Now team and will be televised and streamed live.

The Summit will take place on the 25th of April, from 10AM to 4PM
10-12hrs - open, interactive discussion on the subjects to cover, including

IMPORTANT NOTE: This year a detailed look at the opportunities for our younger international community, between 13 and 18 years old. It has become apparent that there are insufficient places to hang out after school, after aditional school activities and sports; it's up to ys to give them an alternative if we don't want them hanging out in bars.....

12-14hrs - create action groups to put desired objectives into practice

14-16hrs - networking lunch (not to be missed!!)
