Carmen by Bizet

The Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Hotel hosts the new version of
‘Carmen’ by Bizet next Thursday, July 11th, starting at 9.30 p.m.
After her successful premiere in May, Opera Boutique ‘Carmen’ comes
back to the amphitheatre located in a unique setting and surrounded by
beautiful gardens.
For this event, the opera will be performed in a reduced and staged
version, keeping the best-known arias and duets, accompanied by piano.
‘Carmen’ is one of the world’s best-known operas. Bizet’s opera tells us a
story of passion, love and death against the backdrop of 19th-century southern
Spain.

‘Opera Boutique’ is a project created by the musician and cultural
manager Anabel Sánchez from CP&M, that presents a new way of enjoying
opera. This project fuses artistic excellence and delight, and the outstanding
environment where it takes place contributes to the success of the performance.
