On Friday the 24th January, a very special event to celebrate the birthday of Scotland’s greatest poet Robert Burns is set to take place at the popular Marbella venue, in the centre of Puerto Banus.
A traditional four-course Scottish Supper will be served in the intimate Live Lounge at 8 pm. Guests are encouraged to arrive from 7.30 pm for a welcome Cava reception prior to being piped into the room by a traditional Scottish bagpiper.
The menu will showcase authentic dishes including Oak Smoked Scottish Salmon, Haggis Neeps & Tatties, Fillet of Beef with a Drambuie Sauce, Sticky Toffee Pudding and a ‘wee dram’ of Malt Whisky.
A full array of entertainment will bring the evening to life with a traditional bagpiper, Scottish songs by Mark Connor and not forgetting the speaker to recite ‘Selkirk Grace’ as well as the ‘Address to the Haggis’ amongst others.
Robert Burns was a Scottish poet and lyricist which was born on January 25th, 1759 in Ayrshire, Scotland. Burns Night, also known as Burns Supper, is a holiday celebrated in Scotland on January 25th to remember the famous poet Robert Burns.
The Live Lounge in La Sala Puerto Banús is the room where the stage truly comes alive! You can sit back and enjoy tribute performances from the likes of The Jersey Boys, Abba, Rod Stewart and Dolly Parton to name but a few. The space is also widely used for one-off private functions, charity events and comedy evenings.
This unique evening is priced at just 50€ per person excluding IVA and wearing Tartan is encouraged, however small!
