Ronan Keating Unplugs at La Sala Marbella

Celebrities Charity Parties

The well-loved Irish star got up close and personal with Marbella's social elite for a night of fundraising for the Global Gift Foundation

Ronan Keating, back in Marbella for the Global Gift Foundation, wowed an exclusive crowd of fans with an unplugged set at La Sala in Puerto Banus.  Ronan has been a regular visitor to Marbella over the years and on this ocassion, he performed in the more intimate live lounge area of La Sala so guests really were very much up close and personal with the well-loved star.  He performed some of the older BoyZone classics, his own big hits and some newer numbers as well.  It was a glamorous red carpet event and the team at La Sala showcased their talents and flair with superb cocktails and a gourmet dinner to follow.  La Sala is often the celebrity's chosen venue for a night out in Marbella and with some of the guests attending also being famous, it really was a night for a bit of celeb spotting!

The real focus of the event, however, was fundraising for the Global Gift Foundation. Global Gift Foundation is a non-profit charity whose goal is to create positive changes in development, wellness, health care and social inclusion of the most vulnerable. The Foundation helps provide shelter, food, clothing, education, medical care and other vital needs of vulnerable groups, particularly children and women in need.

Created in 2013 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Maria Bravo, the foundation supports projects from different organizations around the world and has recently launched its own, Global Gift House, a multifunctional centre for children with rare or chronic diseases that is located in the city of Marbella and that will shelter at least 6 non-profit charitable organizations of the zone; Adisol (Association of Diabetics of the Costa del Sol), ADAHIMAR (Social Association of Attention Deficit Disorders and Hyperactivity), CADI (Center for Childhood Diversity Care), Association against Cystic Fibrosis, Bubble and Dreams Without diagnosis) and AMPEMNA (Association of Multiple Sclerosis Marbella / San Pedro / Estepona).
