In need of health care in Marbella

Marbella
Did you get stung by a jellyfish on your holidays or maybe you stubbed your toe and you need to see a doctor?

Why not get yourself an (EHIC) European Health Insurance Card, you can apply for free using their application.

A valid European Health Insurance Card gives you the right to access state-provided healthcare during a temporary stay and treatment should be provided on the same basis as it would to a resident of that country, either at a reduced cost or even free in most cases.

The EHIC is not an alternative to travel insurance. It will not cover any private medical healthcare or costs, such as mountain rescue in ski resorts, being flown back to the UK, or lost or stolen property. It's also not valid in cruises.

Children are constantly falling or tripping over, this card gives you peace of mind as well as being well looked after on your holiday.

The EHIC card will ONLY entitle you to treatment at the local state-run health centre but for those traveling with private health insurance whilst visiting Marbella, here are some health centres and GP’s who will look after you in your own language:

The General Medical Surgery
Triay Medical Centre
