The Spanish Tennis Federation, RFET, has announced the Puente Romano Sports Complex in Marbella will host Spain's Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group first round tie with Great Britain on 2-4 February 2018.

The venue, which is subject to ITF approval, beat competition from Granada to host the February clash - Spain's first Davis Cup tie on home soil since 2013 when it welcomed Ukraine to Madrid's Caja Magica for a World Group play-off.
The February contest will be the first meeting between Spain and Great Britain in Davis Cup by BNP Paribas since 1986, when the British team won 4-1 at the same stage of the competition on home soil in Telford.

Great Britain has won the last three ties between the two nations - including in 1979 and 1982 - and leads the overall head-to-head 8-5.

We are very much looking forward to the event and we hope you will join us to celebrate the game of your life.
