October Weather in Marbella

What to expect when travelling to Marbella in the month of October

The weather in October in Marbella is often thought by locals as one of the most pleasant months of the year.  The evenings are still balmy and warm without being so hot as to need air conditioning all night long and the daytimes are still warm enough to enjoy a day at the beach and alfresco dining.  The average high is around 22ºC during the day with nights dropping to around 12 in the evening.

Some good places to visit
In October you would be well advised to visit the area of Cadiz and Tarifa.  The pure white sands that stretch along this coastline and the boho surf crazy villages of Tarifa, Conil and Zahara de los Atunes are blissful in October when the summer crowds have left.

What to pack - Essentials / What to wear
You will still be able to wear a summer wardrobe at this time of the year just be sure to pack a couple of light jumpers or jacket / pashmina for the ladies, so that when it gets cooler at night you don't get caught out.

Best places to find the locals
Locals will definitely still be enjoying our beaches and chiringuitos at this time of year, revelling in the fact that they can easily find a sun lounger, service is quick and that they can find a parking space no problem!  Some of our favourite venues in October include Sea Grill for some fancy Brunch behaviour, Siroko Beach, The Beach House or Sonora.

What not to miss
If the seas are calm take a boat out for the day and enjoy a day at sea

What you should be drinking
