The origin of this 'path' traces back to the 20th century. What they cleverly devised is a trail that measures a mere 1 meter in width and stretches for 3 kilometres, towering an astonishing 100 meters above the ground! A few years subsequent, during the inauguration of the Dam by the esteemed King Alfonso XIII, he traversed this remarkable path and christened it with the name it proudly bears to this day: 'El Caminito del Rey.' Only 1 hour separates Marbella from El Chorro, the village where our adventure commences. The path itself is brief and devoid of challenges. Nonetheless, the true enchantment lies in its extraordinary setting, with segments suspended over 100 meters above the river. Prepare to wander along vertiginous pathways, cross the reservoir on towering bridges, and relish breath-taking vistas from lofty vantage points. Upon arrival, the adventure commences. You'll join one of the staff-organized groups to venture along the path for approximately three hours. Following the tour, you'll have 1.5 hours to enjoy lunch or explore the surroundings at your leisure before returning to Marbella. Your chauffeur will collect you from the designated spot to transport you to the vicinity of the Caminito del Rey. It's an unspoiled and rugged Andalusian terrain, adorned with olive groves - the journey alone promises to enchant you.
