South Café in San Pedro de Alcantara is a cosy place to enjoy Andalusia's culture and gastronomy with a modern and health-minded focus. They have a lovely sunny terrace and also a light and bright upstairs area offering nice views out over the pedestrian area, wonderful in the winter months where you perhaps don´t want to sit outside.South Cafe also has a great space upstairs perfect for any private parties. Meanwhile for parking there's an underground car park.
They have delicious homemade-style dishes from Breakfast at 8am midweek & 9am Saturday & Sunday, through until 6pm including smoothies, juices, superb coffees, cakes and hot and cold dishes. Their portion sizes are generous and pricing is reasonable. Various health bowls with superfoods priced under 10€, their delicious South Burger with caramelized onions, cheese from Coín and Chipotle mayo for just 13.50€ and then Vegan treats for dessert for 3.00€!
They bake all of their own bread and also offer Gluten-free and Vegan options. Their chefs are also keen to try to source their ingredients locally when possible so when you order your eggs know that they've come from just down the road!
All of their menu is also available for take away so if you need to have your breakfast or lunch on the go or perhaps you fancy something prepared as a picnic for the beach then South Café would be a great choice.
