Marbella Feria

Marbella is set to come alive this June with the vibrant celebrations of the Feria de San Bernabé, the city's most significant annual festival honouring its patron saint, San Bernabé. Scheduled from June 9 to 15, 2025, the fair promises a week of cultural richness, entertainment, and community spirit. 

The Marbella Feria kicks off with the usual amazing firework display on the 9th of June at 10 pm and set off from the beach in front of the Marbella Lighthouse.

The festivities commence with the traditional Romería de San Bernabé on Sunday, June 8. This pilgrimage features locals dressed in traditional attire, parading through the streets with music and floral offerings, setting a joyful tone for the week ahead.

During the day, Marbella's historic centre, particularly around Avenida del Mar, transforms into a lively hub of activity. Visitors can enjoy flamenco performances, indulge in local gastronomy, and participate in various cultural events that showcase Andalusian traditions.

As night falls, the celebrations shift to the fairgrounds at Arroyo Primero. Here, the atmosphere becomes electric with illuminated casetas (marquee tents), amusement rides, live concerts, and dance floors that keep the festivities going until dawn. 

This year's fair will be inaugurated by Carmen Pastora, affectionately known as 'Pichu,' a respected local figure and former employee of the municipal festivals department. The official poster, chosen through a public vote, was designed by local artists Pablo Blanques and Yura Barkalov, reflecting the community's involvement in the event.
