Description
Step away from the coast and dive into the wild beauty of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. Located near the picturesque white village of Yunquera, the Zarzalones Canyon is one of the best-kept secrets of Andalusia, offering an aquatic adventure just 50 minutes from Marbella and 1 hour from Málaga city.
Your experience begins at the very source of the Rio Grande, where pure green and crystalline waters emerge from the depths of the Zarzalones cave. This 4-hour technical descent is the perfect intermediate challenge, positioned halfway between the introductory level of Guadalmina and the extreme demand of Buitreras. It is highly recommended for athletes, adventure lovers, and active families with children from 9 years old.
Guided by our certified professional team, you will progress through the river bed, discovering natural jumps and conquering two spectacular rappels of 10 and 21 meters. To ensure your safety and enjoyment, we provide high-quality, regularly inspected gear, including wetsuits, helmets, and harnesses.
Because we want you to focus entirely on the thrill of the descent, your guide will capture every jump and rappel. You will receive a full photo report via WhatsApp within 24 hours at no extra cost.
