After attending medical schools in Bonn, Paris V, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Munich (TUM), Dr Kai O Kaye, Surgical Director of Ocean Clinic, received his medical degree from the University of Munich (TUM) in 2001. He then went on to receive his University Doctorate Magna cum Laude in 2002 after two years of research in the field of reconstructive plastic surgery at the TUM.

In 2002 Dr Kaye joined a renowned plastic surgery department in Berlin to specialize in plastic surgery, and in 2004 took the opportunity to join the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at the University of Aachen (RWTH). Dr Kaye is a fully registered cosmetic surgery consultant in Germany, Spain and the UK. He has lectured at national and international conventions and has published several articles in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery.  Dr. Kaye has also been elected Member of the prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgeons ASPS, one of the oldest Plastic Surgery Specialty Organizations worldwide.
