Th German Language Lions Club works to help people of all ages. They are part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help – be it in local communities or internationally. The Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has awarded more than 660 million US Dollars in grants to support Lions’ humanitarian projects around the world. International Lions Programs
They have many parts within their organisation such as, SightFirst which is
a programm which works to eradicate blindness. They also have Health, Children and Environmental programs. These include tests for hearing and sight, control and prevention of diabetes, support for vaccinations, collections of food and clothing, environment and recycling programs. They also have a school program that brings crucial life skills to the classroom which is called Lions´ Quest. Finally, they have the Leo Clubs and Youth Programs which encourage voluteering and leadership in young people, giving them a chance to learn, grow and serve by participating in community service projects.
