Atalaya Golf & Country Club (New Course)
Marbella
Consider renting a buggy if you prefer not to walk the gently undulating terrain.
Atalaya Golf & Country Club's New Course in Estepona offers a delightful golfing experience with its natural setting and views of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar. Designed by Paul Krings and opened in 1990, this 18-hole, par 71 course stretches over 5623 yards. The course features gently undulating fairways and large, fast greens, providing a parkland feel that appeals to many golfers. While hazards are visible, they can still challenge those who are not careful off the tees. The course is suitable for golfers who enjoy a mix of strategic play and scenic surroundings.
The New Course is a resort-type course with Bermuda grass, and it offers a range of facilities to enhance the golfing experience. These include a club valet, caddy and golf carts, practice facilities, lessons, dining options, a spa, club and shoe rental, locker rooms, a golf shop, and accommodation. The course is catching up with its older counterpart in terms of quality, making it an attractive option for holiday golfers, especially during the summer months.
