Añoreta Golf
Málaga, Marbella
Consider renting a golf cart due to the hilly terrain and long distances between some holes.
Añoreta Golf, located in Rincón de la Victoria, offers an engaging golfing experience on the Costa del Sol. Designed by Ryder Cup Champion José María Cañizares, this 18-hole course opened in 1990 and features a par 72 layout. The course stretches over 6,579 yards, providing a challenging yet enjoyable round for golfers of all skill levels. The terrain is varied, with undulating greens and strategically placed water hazards that enhance the natural beauty of the setting. Hole 7 is particularly notable for its views of the sea.
Golfers should be prepared for some long walks between holes, as the paths can be hilly and signage is limited. The course's design requires careful play, as the sloping terrain can obscure visibility between groups. Facilities at Añoreta Golf include caddy and golf cart rentals, practice areas, lessons, dining options, a locker room, and a golf shop. The Mediterranean climate of the region ensures that the course can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Reviews
The paths between the holes are sometimes forever long, hilly, and there are no 'next tee' signs. The course was in ok condition, but it's not easy and definitely a ball eater. In addition, it can be dangerous because the subsequent flight cannot see the previous flight due to sloping terrain and the balls fly around your ears a few times. Bells would be appropriate. We had to wait forever, bad organization and no sheriff to take care of it.
