Dog Walking Volunteer Experience at Triple A Marbella Animal Shelter
Join a guided dog walking activity at Triple A Marbella, the largest animal shelter on the Costa del Sol. This experience suits dog lovers aged 16 and older who are comfortable with large, energetic dogs.
Activity Overview
Help walk the shelter’s dogs through natural trails around the shelter. Volunteers support daily walks for over 200 dogs, providing exercise and companionship to animals in need. The activity offers outdoor exercise, social interaction, and meaningful involvement with rescue dogs.
Experienced volunteers guide each walk to ensure safety and enjoyment. No prior experience is needed—only a genuine care for dogs and a responsible attitude. Dogs may be strong and untrained, so volunteers must handle pulls, jumps, and lively behavior.
Walks last approximately 30 minutes and include time in fenced dog parks where dogs can run freely. Group walks are organized based on dog compatibility, and visitors can stay together if arriving as a group. Additional walks with different dogs are possible after your first round.

Important Information
- Volunteers must be 16 years or older, physically able, and comfortable with large, strong dogs.

- Fear of dogs or inability to manage busy, sometimes chaotic situations is not suitable for this activity.
Booking and Attendance Details
You can join the walks any time between 09:00 and 11:00 and stay as long as you wish. Even one hour makes a difference. Booking secures your visit and financially supports the shelter.
Wear comfortable clothes suitable for outdoor activity and prepare to get a little dirty. Early morning visits typically offer the best conditions for walking the dogs.
