Atlantic Clinic in Nueva Andalucía, Marbella is a clinic with a group of mostly British-trained doctors working together as a close-knit team to provide high-quality medical care to expatriates and holidaymakers on the Costa del Sol. Being ill in a foreign country can be a daunting experience but from the first contact to their clinic they provide in English all the assistance and support you may need until the problem is resolved. This extends to hospital admissions, follow up, and writing to your doctor at home when needed.
If requested, your GP can visit you in hospital, help you with decisions and even be with you at an operation if required.

Atlantic Clinic is a British, purpose-built medical centre designed to bring together the best English-speaking doctors, specialists and other health professionals on the Costa del Sol under one roof to provide medical care to the expatriate community and holidaymakers. Dr Anthony Crichton-Smith (general practitioner) is the owner and Medical Director. Most of the health professionals are UK-trained and fluent English speakers. Appointments with specialists are normally in joint consultation with your GP.

If your insurance covers outpatient consultations they can arrange direct billing with the insurer which requires an authorization from the insurer before your appointment but is really straightforward. When you make contact with the clinic initially please give Marylou the practice secretary your policy number, the nature of your health problem, and the date when it first started and she will arrange everything.

Biomar Laboratory runs a complete in-house analysis for blood tests and other investigations which means they have a rapid service, with most results being ready in 24 hours or sooner, and there is close communication between the doctors and the laboratory. Analysis can be carried out without the need for seeing a doctor if appropriate.

There is also ample parking reserved for patients on the forecourt which means for an easy door to door type approach, ideal if you are feeling a bit under the weather. There is also full disabled access throughout the clinic, including a wheelchair-accessible lift and a disabled toilet. Atlantic Clinic is centrally located on a main commercial road in Nueva Andalucia, Puerto Banus however despite its location, the clinic is a leafy oasis of tranquillity with beautiful views across the Benabola valley.

Emergency medical services are available on a 24-hour basis and you can be seen at the clinic or in your home.
