Handpicked by a Marbella Local Expert, we bring you our guide to 'Best Restaurants In Marbella Old Town'.

Every trip to Marbella has to include at least a couple of nights dining under the stars with the heady scent of Orange blossom and Dama de Noche. Here is your guide to whats best in the Old Town, and even a few tips on what to miss.
Marbella Old Town is a foodie paradise, with something for everyone. It's always worth a good long wander to find your favourite dining spots, but I would recommend not getting too excited about the dining on Orange Square, it's a gorgeous spot but you will be better off for your sojourn to the famous square by just sticking to a nice coffee or ice cream and spending your food money on one of the amazing places on my list.

The Orange Tree Restaurant

The Orange Tree Restaurant, run by Frank and Irene, is one of the most quaint and inviting restaurants in Old Town Marbella. Located on the East side of Orange Square, you will immediately feel welcomed and comfortable, with a smiling face always there to greet you and a light and airy atmosphere to enjoy simply delicious food. The Orange Tree is without hesitation a must visit! The Chef is...

Casanis

Casanis has become a favourite of both residents and visitors of Marbella for its traditional French cuisine with a contemporary twist and the charming decor. Tucked away like a hidden gem on Calle Ancha in the old town, the French bistro is in a beautiful building that is 150 years old and is picturesque with plants and flowers climbing the walls outside and expertly painted murals adorning th...

Established in 2005 and awarded a Michelin Star in 2008, their Mediterranean avant-garde cuisine is created by using only the finest produce, with avant-garde, modern and creative flavours and blending contrasts creating interesting and vibrant dishes. Open for lunch and dinner, the kitchen highlights classic Andalucian cuisine, whilst m...

This is a true taste of Marbella's restaurant culture and allows tourists a chance to sample the best of local produce, fresh from the Mediterranean waters. Each night, they serve freshly caught fish and shellfish that you can select yourself from the tank. Your choi...

Bar El Estrecho

Situated off the beaten track down a narrow alley in the centre of Marbella's old town, you may be hard pushed to find Bar El Estrecho yet it is one of the most acclaimed tapas bars in Marbella. Founded in 1954 and family run, the owners here certainly know their pil pil from their fino.  We are quite happy that it's a bit off the beaten track though as it certainly is a hidden gem! Like m...

Il Tartufo

Il Tartufo endeavors to provide an attentive, friendly, informative and efficient service and to offer an alternative choice of fresh, homemade Italian cuisine in Marbella's Old Town.  It's a small family run restaurant with only a few tables so booking in advance tends to be essential, especially in the summer months and they often offer truffle tasting nights so look out in the events calen...

Lateral

Located in the Plaza de Los Naranjos 7, one of the most popular and busiest areas in the heart of Marbella Old Town. The interior design is the work of Alicia Martín and Alba Hurlé from Cousi and blends modern design elements that are already characteristic of the firm, with a renewed Andalusian and colonial style. Thus, the client will be able to enjoy an Andalusian-style courtyard...

Stuzzikini

The heart of Sardinia comes to the Costa del Sol at Stuzzikini restaurant in the old town of Marbella. Offering authentic and delicious Italian, the restaurant has an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Chef and owner Robert has much experience working in Spain, England and Italy and retains the original flavours and essence of Italy. Dishes on the menu include cured beef from Valtellina, a typ...

Bistro Paloma

Bistro Paloma owned by Swedish chef Patrick is tucked away just off Orange Square in the heart of Marbella Old Town.  The menu changes often with the season and Patrick also creates delicious specials on a regular basis.
