This week’s DJ needs no introduction as Deeper presents JL Magoya, DJ, producer, promoter & pioneer of the evolution of the electronic music scene in Spain for over the last 2 decades. The driving force behind the seminal & iconic clubs Bocaccio & Midday and in the mid 90’s together with Deeper’s Susie K they created Deep & were responsible for bringing the world’s most famous international DJs for the first time to Madrid & Marbella, the likes of Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Plastikman, Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega, David Morales & Francois Kervorkian amongst many others.
Never having stopped pushing all these years he continues to do what he loves & does best. During the summers he’s the Thursday night resident at Cafe del Mar, Tarifa bringing artists such as Derrick May, John Acquaviva, Sidney Charles + Hernan Cattaneo...& most recently has started a monthly Deep Sunday afternoon session at the fantastic NuBel Museo Reina Sofia.
So give it up for JLM as Deep gets Deeper!!!
