Cala Mijas Festival

Saturday 3 September
Marbella

Liam Gallagher, James Blake, Bonobo and Marc Rebillet join the lineup for the international festival Cala Mijas

MEUTE and Spanish artists Fuel Fandango, Santa Salut, La Trinidad and GAZZI will also be performing in Mijas (Málaga) just a 20 min drive from Marbella!

The event is set to become one of the leading festivals on the international scene.

This festival is a must. We said it loud and clear, Cala Mijas is a truly committed festival featuring world-class artists. The new event in the Costa del Sol has already been embraced in Spain and around the world, and Cala Mijas reiterates its commitment to deliver an experience that lives up to expectations. To send off the year in style, today nine names have been added to the line up, as we wrap up 2021 with some new pieces of the puzzle that is gradually coming together for the first edition of Cala Mijas.

This festival is full of surprises. Arctic Monkeys may be claiming their throne as the kings of British rock, but another UK sovereign will also be holding court: the iconic and unconventional Liam Gallagher will also be performing in September at Cala Mijas; in his parka and with his solo project, England’s cheekiest frontman will lead the festival’s lineup with attitude and rock’n’roll. The wondrous festival will also welcome vocalist and producer James Blake, the ambient electronic music of Bonobo, and versatile Texan Marc Rebillet with his talent for making express music. German techno marching band MEUTE, the eclectic Andalusian duo Fuel Fandango with their energetic set, the raw rap of Santa Salut, the breaks and neoperreo of rising Spanish star GAZZI and the trio from Málaga La Trinidad round off the new selection of artists. After this second wave of announcements, the line up now features 23 acts, with more to be announced over the coming months, shaping the first edition of Cala Mijas

Passes are still on sale at a promotional price of €120 until 16th Jan.

There are two accommodation options available: camping and glamping.

Camping is the more affordable option and includes 6 days and 5 nights for €25, and glamping has been designed for those who dream of embracing the spirit of dolce far niente and want to stay closer to the venue and enjoy hotel-like amenities from €75 for 5 nights without a care in the world.
